A number of our Huntmore puppies are cutting their teeth on Lake States grouse.  Gauge, just under a year old, from the November 2017 chestnut litter out of Huntmore Bellezza ("Sis") by Blizzard's Huntmore Parker, is holding his own.  His partner Rodney writes, "The birds were way down.  We were only getting 4 to 6 flushes per day when usually we have 20 to 30 a day.  We had some points, however;  it's when we were doing something else and not paying attention, so I didn't get any pictures."

"Gauge hunted like a champion," Rodney enthused.  "One he pointed, and my uncle couldn't get the safety off.  Then another one, I was looking at my GPS and never knew he was pointed right beside me!"

Gauge continues to be a solid flag bearer for our breeding program:  easy disposition, precocious development, strong drive and pointing instinct, all in a package of athletic grace and beauty.  Thank you, Rodney, for checking in!
