We were delighted to hear from Gauge, a young dog out of Sis by Parker, now living in Georgia. "...(Gauge) is easy to manage. He hangs out all the time without worrying about him running off and acting crazy. Listens very well. He is very athletic, fast, and can leap very high. He has a lot of drive. That's what I like. Not sure on weight, but slim and muscular. Built very well. The vet was impressed...and asked me where I got him. These are very quality dogs. I couldn't be...happier."
We'll look forward to hearing more about Gauge as he gets more field work under his belt, but for now, we're delighted that he has settled in to his family setting. Gauge is the kind of dog we're able to consistently produce from our Blizzard Huntmore strain - quiet minded dogs with prey drive and tenacity, but who are biddable, easily trained companions. Not only are they sound dogs in terms of conformation, we don't mind admitting that life's too short to feed an ugly dog! Parker and Sis surely passed on their classic good looks to young Gauge. To Gauge and to his family, "We couldn't be happier either!"
