Our friend Tom in West Virginia gets around the country with his young Luke, born May 2018 to Parker X Dixie. At under 7 months old, he had already pointed four species of birds. Here's what Tom has to say about Blizzard's Huntmore Llewellin along with photos of that pup in the field.
"So far most of the hunting has been in milo and thick brush and CRP. He has pointed over 40 quail and I have lost count of the pheasants. Just can't get pics in thick stuff and as soon as you walk up the birds flush. They aren't out in more open cover. The pics in the cornfield are two leftovers we flushed in gulley past dog. The brush pic is the cover he is pointing in" (from where the birds flushed to the cornfield).
Tom mentioned that Luke's usual high and tight style on point was different in these photos. "It was the end of the day. He was pretty worn down."
